You Were Built to Direct
“Direct means to supervise; supervise their actions, their conduct. Look at what they are doing. Be alert and attentive.”

You Were Built to Develop
After reading from Proverbs 22:6, Dr. LeMay told mothers they were built to develop their children.

“You are built to structure them, put foundations into them for the house, for the family, for God. You are built to develop them in their gifts, in their talents, in their abilities.

You Were Built to Discipline
Dr. LeMay acknowledge that discipline may be hard for some parents (and kids) to hear/ deal with. But using Ephesians 6:4 and Proverbs 29:15, she explained to mothers how shame can follow when discipline is avoided.

“When you leave a child, you don’t teach them, you don’t train them, you don’t pray, you don’t take them to the house of the Lord, you don’t put them around good influences- that’s called leaving them to themselves.

You Were Built to Destroy (the strongholds of the devil)
From 2nd Thessalonians 3:3, 2nd Corinthians 10:3, Isaiah 54:17 and Luke 10:19, D. LeMay encouraged that mothers must keep the pressure on the enemy.

“When things are going a little haywire, when they don’t look straight, you’ve gotta keep the pressure on.”

LeMay told mothers not to give-in when their children’s behavior starts to get a little rough or when they start to see rebellion.

“You’ve got to stay the course. Remember this, you have the authority, moms. You have the authority. God has given them unto your care, unto your stead, unto your oversight. He has given them unto you,” she added.

Dr. DeNae LeMay co-founded Champion Christian Center in Charlotte, NC with her husband Dr. Stacey LeMay in January of 2006.

“Champion is a Practical, Progressive yet Powerful ministry that is committed to THE POWER OF PRAYER, PASSIONATE WORSHIP, KINGDOM PROSPERITY & the revealing of man's PURPOSE on the earth…”
