Thelma Casey is a retired public, High school teacher with more than two decades experience
teaching Social Studies; History and Economics; and coordinating teacher and student academic
and extracurricular programs and activities.

teams, High school Social Studies Department Head and teacher coach.

professional learning and support to adult learners in implementing a multi-tiered system of supports and the teaching of reading. My
professional background consists of teacher, school administrator, literacy coach, program specialist for reading, and professional
development facilitator for language and literacy. I am experienced in providing professional development, analyzing and interpreting data to
determine the learning needs of all learners, identifying strategies to meet identified needs, and determining effectiveness. I am proficient in
using technology designed to facilitate work productivity and active engagement of all learners.
