Our Spring 2025 Digital Media Class gives student real-world, on-the-job training in the vast field of digital media! Students will learn industry standards in audio and video production. They will learn how to produce features for radio, TV, digital and social media.
Each month, students work in groups on different media projects designed to expand their knowledge of different forms of media/ digital communication.

February
Restoration: In celebration of African-American History Month, students will learn about the renovation of four historic buildings in South Carolina and how each served as a backdrop in American's struggle for equality. Students will audio video, pictures and interviews to produce feature stories about how each renewed building is once again, serving as backdrop for American history.
March
Oral History Project: In celebration of Women's History Month, students will research influential women impacting South Carolina. Students will conduct oral history interviews with subjects, producing a limited-series podcast.

He Is Risen: In celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, students will spend a month retracing events leading to the resurrection, producing an online quiz game for digital media.
Meet the Instructor
Thelisha Eaddy is an award-winning multimedia journalist with decades of experience producing news and feature stories about the people, places and significant events of the Carolinas.
Mrs. Eaddy has worked in both private/ commercial and public media. She currently serves as local morning host of Morning Edition on South Carolina Public Radio. Mrs. Eaddy is also the founder and director of The Christian Village, an online media platform of Christian news and features. |
