Mrs. Casey is Mrs. Thelma Casey is a retired public, high school teacher with more than two decades experience teaching Social Studies; History and Economics; and coordinating teacher and student academic and extracurricular programs and activities. Thelma’s teaching experience includes serving on strategic planning teams, SAC re-evaluation teams, high school Social Studies Department Head and teacher coach. Mrs. Casey is founder and director of Christ Living Institute. |

The Friendship That Starts with You (Grades 5-8)
Instructor: Coach QuinnShauna M. Felder-Snipes, EdS, LMFT Start Date: Thursday, Sept. 4th Time: 1pm Format: Virtual This is a 12- week course, (Sept 4th- Nov. 20th) This course is a transformative 12-week journey designed specifically for preteens and young teens to build self-compassion, boost confidence, and nurture a positive, God- centered inner dialogue. Through engaging discussions, creative activities, scriptural reflections, and practical exercises, this course empowers young people to understand their unique strengths, set healthy boundaries, and develop the skills to navigate life's challenges with resilience. Participants will explore topics such as rewriting negative self-talk, embracing their individuality, and creating a personal growth plan. We partner with students within a supportive, safe, Spirit-led environment where every student can learn to celebrate themselves and become their own best friends while having fun and supporting their peers. |
Student News Club- Radio
Instructor: Thelisha Eaddy Time: Wednesdays 2pm Format: In-person Our student news club returns Fall 2025, with a focus on radio/ podcast production! This semester, students will use audio recording equipment to professionally capture sound for radio news and feature reports. This class gives students the opportunity to work alongside media professionals in the Columbia area to learn interviewing, speaking/ announcing and editing skills. Students will produce a weekly news, weather and feature report which will air on TCV Radio. |
